Smart home technology is constantly improving to enhance convenience and energy efficiency. However, these improvements often come with new features and requirements that can be difficult to navigate for existing users. IQ Nest’s goal is to increase the adoption of smart home systems with a unique tool- simplicity.

The Problem

Smart home technology is constantly improving to enhance convenience and energy efficiency. However, these improvements often come with new features and requirements that can be difficult to navigate for existing users. IQ Nest’s goal is to increase the adoption of smart home systems with a unique tool- simplicity.

Our Approach

We researched and analyzed the preferences of smart home technology users and identified 3 key qualities – seamless integration, affordability, and user-friendliness. This inspired us to create a clean and modern aesthetic that cuts out the fluff around technology to help the target audience focus on its functionality.

The Solution

Logo Design: The logo combines two major elements- a home and a network signal to highlight the core elements that make a smart home. The white color creates a clean yet modern look while the green backdrop represents the serenity of a modern home.

Advertising Design: We applied the logo and color palette to develop an outdoor design to boost brand awareness and reach a wider audience.

Brand Illustration Pack: We applied the logo and color palette to design products and stationery design to create a strong brand recall with IQ Nest’s target audience.
